Project Accountant

SUMMARY:
The Project Accountant is responsible for managing and administering the company's ERP Cost Accounting data and ensuring timely project billings to customers.

Annual Salary $42,000- $48,000 based on interview and experience.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist in preparing and processing job set-up documentation in compliance with contracts.
  • Manage and maintain project job costing data.
  • Participate in preparing customer invoices with proper backup and approvals.
  • Help Payroll in addressing payroll errors through Costpoint.
  • Assign job codes, PLCs, and H&W to labor in Costpoint.
  • Perform job close tasks, ensuring proper cost coding, contract compliance, and inclusion of all job costs.
  • Complete any other duties as assigned by management.
  • Expected to be in office 60% to 100% of the time.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Previous experience and/or training, or a similar combination of education and experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel.
  • Strong planning, organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills (both oral and written).
